Troubadueli

Ueli Stampfli alias Troubadueli is a songwriter from Zug who knows how to make lyrics and melody sound as one. He accompanies himself with the guitar and, if the songs played allow it, sometimes with a harmonica. While his fingerpicking is reminiscent of Bob Dylan and the expressive lyrics of Mani Matter or Hannes Wader, one cannot help but notice that Troubadueli's musical career began as the singer of a reggae band. In terms of content, he doesn't allow himself to be pushed into a corner. His lyrics can be funny, melancholic or political. No one leaves his concerts without being personally touched sooner or later.
